These Controversial Vintage Ads Show How Women Were Viewed Before the Millennium

For a long time, women have always been used in popular culture and advertisements as a means of appealing to men. Whilst this concept might not be anything new to the world, this idea has its own restrictions… For the most part, people would agree that using or promoting images of a child would not be ok, even if she is a girl.

This Max Factor advertisement shows three different generations of women posing with a kissing faces and holding Max Factor products for men. And for some reason, the youngest person on this poster seems to be a child… In what world would it be ok to portray a child doing such a thing? This kind of promotion should be banned.
