What Different Colored Helmets Indicate: A Guide to Work Safety
Safety should always come first, especially at a construction site. But have you ever seen workers with different color helmets and wondered if they represented something? Well, guess what? They do. Each type and color of helmet represents a different kind of role.

For example, a white helmet is for foremen, supervisors, engineers and managers, while grey is for site visitors. Green is for safety officers on site, and blue is for technical and electrical operators. Pink is either used an additional helmet or for female workers, whereas red is firefighters. A brown helmet is for welders, or those operating in high-heat situations, and yellow, which you’ll see most commonly, indicates those performing construction, labor, and heavy-duty tasks.
