The Many Different Times People Saw Curious and Comical Things on the Subway

Unfortunately, I am once again left at a loss for a fitting explanation in the case of this photo. I can stipulate all kinds of ideas about this man and his dress, but I have just as much chance of being wrong as I am of being right. So, I’m unsure whether I should put my best theories forward and risk being put to shame.

We are definitely looking at some sort of rat or rat-like creature. I just hope that its fellow passengers nonetheless realize that there is a human hidden inside and don’t accidentally think they are being faced with living confirmation of the theory of a Rat-King living in and ruling over the underground.
