The Many Different Times People Saw Curious and Comical Things on the Subway

By comparison, a train-riding man dressed in a chicken costume would be rather ordinary, as would a train-riding man eating an entire roast chicken with a knife and fork. The combination of the two is almost too strange and wonderful for us mortals to bear.

As much as the deed itself is undoubtedly noble and serves the public interest, we do have to wonder a little bit about the motives of the person involved. Did he lose a bet? Was he part of a strange prank or social experiment, or else some kind of public theatre? One way or another, we owe him our thanks.
