The Many Different Times People Saw Curious and Comical Things on the Subway

Wow, I really didn’t think my attempts at normalization of costumed commuting would pay off that quickly. Usually, it takes a few years for the ideas I preach on here to catch on, if at all. For example, I’m still waiting for people to start attaching umbrellas to their belts like lightsabers.

Whatever the reason, I’m happy that my efforts have paid off in this case. We’re already seeing a 300% increase in the number of people pictured in costume on the train. There also seems to me to be a beautiful irony in boarding this particular form of transportation dressed as fish.
